Walim ((ドイツ語:Wüstewaltersdorf)) is a village in Wałbrzych County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) - TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal) )〕 It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Walim. It lies approximately south-east of Wałbrzych, and south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
